This retreat is suitable for everyone, from experienced climbers wishing to gain the benefits of yoga and learn to climb above their comfort zone with a peaceful mind, to yoga practitioners who have never touched a rock but would like to try this wonderful activity in one of the most scenic places in Cyprus; and to those who are new to both climbing and yoga this retreat offers an exciting introduction to both.
Yoga: The retreat will include dynamic morning yoga to support your start of the day and get you in tune for the climbing sessions to follow afternoon restorative practices to regenerate your body from climbing-exercise.
Yoga practices will take place at the hotel and will be led by Natasa Nirou, a certified Yoga teacher with a never-ending desire to keep learning and ongoing trainings. Natasa wishes to make Yoga accessible to everyone and share the greatness in the design of human mechanics and Physique anatomy. During her classes, she keeps a steady connection with breath with a strong emphasis on alignment. To her, Yoga when practised mindfully it becomes a moving meditation, offering ease and peacefulness to the practitioner.
Rock Climbing: Rock climbing is an exciting activity, loved by children and adults. It’s a great form of exercise for the body and the mind, as it cultivates concentration, determination, balance, flexibility and physical strength. It offers multiple benefits by stimulating the senses in a way that is unique and different than any other sport.
Rock climbing session on Saturday will take place at Gerakopetra climbing site in Akamas peninsula, one of the most scenic places in Cyprus with breath-taking views of Lara bay. Depending on the abilities & size of the group and also the weather, on Sunday we will visit Dhiarizos river valley climbing site or Gerakopetra again. The instructor, Marios Hadjipetris is a BSc Physical education & sports professional with a specialty in outdoor activities. He has extensive experience teaching climbing to adults and children and what he enjoys most is to see his students have fun through climbing.

Secure your participation in the trip by providing a deposit of €70. This is non-refundable. The remaining €160 must be paid at least 10 days before departure.

Terms and conditions:
Proposed activities are physically demanding. Adults over 18 years old who are in good physical condition, with determination and serious attitude towards outdoor activities can participate.
Instructions by rock climbing instructor during rock climbing must be followed strictly.
Departure times will be strictly followed to ensure the smooth execution of the program.
All participants must sign a personal registration form where they will be asked to list any health problems, so that organizers are aware.
In the case of bad weather conditions that will prevent participation in a programmed activity, the program will be altered accordingly.
One cannot participate in part of the retreat.
Cancellation policy:
The deposit of the amount of €70 is non-refundable.
In case of cancellation 15 days later and up to 10 days before the departure date, you will be charged 50% of the whole amount.
In case of cancellation 9 days later and up to 0 days before the departure date, you will be charged with the whole amount (100%).
In case of no show the whole amount will be charged (100%).
